The farmers’ protest in Toruń will start on March 20, 2024 at 6.00 and will last for 48 hours. It is planned to block the roundabout at the “Plaza” Shopping Center and the section from the roundabout at the “Plaza” Shopping Center to “Castorama”. It is also possible for protesters to travel to the Szosa Chełmińska/Polna intersection (near the “Orlen” station) along the route suggested on the map below:
The farmers’ route runs directly next to the Arena Torun where the championships are held. The road will be passable, but the slow passage of protesters may cause difficulties. We suggest approaching the Arena on foot.
Access to Toruń from nearby towns may also be a problem. Apart from the blockade of Toruń from the west, there will be difficulties from the north and east. Check if your route passes through these areas.
On the days of protest, we recommend checking current difficulties, e.g. using Google Maps to check traffic intensity.
